Goat's head curry( thale mamsa saaru/thale kari)

Ingredients

- Goat's head - 1 nos
- chilly powder - 2 tbsp
- coriander powder - 1 tbsp
- small onions - 2 nos
- ginger-garlic paste - 2 tbsp
- oil - 2 tbsp
- salt for taste
- onions - 1 large
- tomatoes - 2 small
- coconut - about 1/4 th
- red chillies - 8-10nos
- whole cloves - 4 nos
- Cinnamon - 1 stick

Preparation

Step 1

Grind all the ingredients like onions, tomatoes, coconut, red chillies, whole cloves and Cinnamon to smooth paste and keep aside.

Step 2

In a pressure cooker, add oil and add small onions and fry till golden brown, add ginger-garlic paste, red chilly powder, coriander powder and continue to fry.

Step 3

Now add Goat's head meat and the ground masala paste. Add just enough water to cover the meat. Add salt. Cover and pressure cook for 10-15 min.

Step 4

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
